I joined after Trivechain had launched, initially to build its mining pool. My responsibility expanded into development leadership across the tools and protocol changes needed to operate a live public Layer-1.

  • Built the mining pool and reworked the block explorer.
  • Updated the wallet for the colored-coins-inspired TriveAsset tokenization layer, used for TriveCredential and ownership-certificate experiments.
  • Worked on the scheduled X11-to-X16R proof-of-work hard fork.
  • Built the migration to BNB Chain when Trivechain wound down in 2021.

The judgment I carry forward

A live protocol change has consequences beyond the codebase. Wallets, miners, explorers, and users need a coherent transition. The same responsibility applies when ending a network: migration is part of the engineering work.

Outcome and scope

The work covered protocol operations and user-facing infrastructure. The original network wound down in 2021; the articles below explain the asset layer and governance from that period.
